FOR HEIDI — a plain-English plan for turning EuroNAIListry into an income you can run from anywhere. A working draft, not financial advice.
You're likely leaving the US next year. So the whole plan is built around one thing: a business you can manage from a laptop and your phone — from any country, while you travel — with money still coming in.
Never be the bottleneck. If income needs your hands, your shipping, or you being in Marietta, it can't travel with you. Everything below is chosen so it keeps earning while you're on a plane.
Start with the top one — it's the most portable and the highest margin. Add the others when you want.
You do not need to store inventory at home or buy “the whole set-up.” Here's the modern way:
Order a small branded batch from a maker (e.g. Alibaba for white-label gel/oil, or a press-on factory). Always order a sample first.
It ships to a fulfillment warehouse (3PL) — not to your house. They hold it for you.
Your Shopify / TikTok Shop takes the order and sends it to the warehouse automatically.
The warehouse packs & ships to the customer, in your branding. You pay only when an order ships.
Alibaba = where you buy in bulk with your own logo (white-label). There's a minimum order (MOQ), 2–4 weeks shipping, and for gel/oil the US has cosmetic-labelling rules. 3PL = the warehouse that stores + ships so you never touch a box. Together, physical products run while you travel.
Rule of thumb: sell at ~3–5× what it costs you. You were right — $18 feels cheap; land higher.
While you still have the studio and gear. This is your portable income engine — film your signature techniques and package a guide or two.
Shopify or Gumroad/Etsy for the digital items. Your TikTok is the funnel that already exists — point it here.
Recurring monthly income you carry with you — new tutorials + a private community.
Only when you want it: a small branded press-on / gel line run through a 3PL, so a warehouse ships it while you're abroad.
This is a working plan to talk through, not a guarantee or financial advice — real numbers depend on your audience, effort, and costs. The point: build the digital, location-independent core first, keep pricing middle-premium, and only add physical products in a form that ships itself. — Made for Heidi · EuroNAIListry
